WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — A small plane made a hard landing at the Winter Haven Regional Airport Monday morning.
The Winter Haven Police Department said after the 1978 Piper Warrior landed, it slid off the runway and into the grass. The pilot was not injured.
It is unclear at this time what caused the hard landing.
Police added that the FAA has been contacted.
