POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A 41-year-old man was arrested after detectives found more than 500 photos of child pornography on his phone, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Larry Meggers, 41 of Lakeland, is facing 200 counts of possession of child pornography.
Deputies said a couple, who Meggers met through a church program six years ago and allowed him to live in a home they owned, reported the photos after asking Meggers to return the cell phone that they let him borrow.

After completeing a forensic analysis on the phone, PCSO and detectives found more than 500 pornographic photos and/or videos showing children between the ages of 6 months old and 13 years old exposing themselves and/or being sexually battered.
"The images appear to be the type that are typically distributed between others, and not children living in Polk County or with whom Meggers had contact," PCSO said.
Meggers was booked into the Polk County Jail and is being held on $1,000,000 bond ($5,000 per count).
"The couple who took Meggers in and gave him a place to sleep and a cell phone to use contacted law enforcement immediately when they saw these awful images," Sheriff Grady Judd said. "
