BARTOW, Fla. — Polk County Public Schools hopes it can reduce the teacher shortage it is facing.
The district is hosting an online virtual job fair for teaching positions on Wednesday, November 20.
Candidates will have the opportunity to chat online with principals from elementary, middle and high schools that are hiring. Certification specialists and human resource officers will also be part of the online chat.

Officials say anyone seeking a teaching position should participate in the job fair as it will let you engage with an employer and receive answers to your specific questions.
You can use a computer, smartphone or tablet to participate in the event.
