WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office said a 3-year-old French Bulldog and her three puppies were stolen over the weekend.
"I want to find the dogs. My man's devastated. He didn't even want to come out and talk to the camera," said Tev Roberts, the dog owner's friend.
Teddy Frank posted on Facebook in March saying his dog named "Fig" had puppies. He said they would be available for adoption soon.
Two months later, deputies said someone stole the dogs from Frank's backyard.

"Somebody is probably selling them somewhere. They can be found somebody trying to sell those dogs right now," said Roberts.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office responded to the home on Escambia Drive Southeast in Winter Haven on Saturday. Deputies said the mama dog is valued at $2,500 and her puppies are worth money too.
"They're mainly black and they have small stripes of white just little bit of white. They’re black Bulldogs, French Bulldogs," said Roberts.
Deputies said the puppies are about eight weeks old.
"The suspect or suspects also stole a black plastic tote with yellow handles which was likely used to transport the stolen dog and puppies. This is considered a residential burglary and grand theft," said Carrie Horstman with the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Roberts said nothing else was stolen from the home.
"There was money on the counter. There was a TV and so much stuff worth money and they took the dogs," said Roberts.
Roberts said he believes the thief entered through an unlocked door on the patio.
"They didn't take food. They didn't take water," said Roberts.
"This is crazy. Who steals dogs?" said Roberts.
