LAKELAND, Fla. — The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole a golf cart in Lakeland.
The "Golf Cart Thief Man," as PCSO called him on their Facebook page, stole a golf cart from Sterling Furniture on Combee Road South in Lakeland shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Monday.
Surveillance video showed the man back up his newer model 4-door Dodge Dakota pickup truck to the EZ-GO gulf cart, load it up and drive away.
A female was also seen in the video.
Deputies said they believe the suspect is white or Hispanic and his truck may have a malfunctioning front left turn signal.
