LAKELAND, Fla. — The City of Lakeland government is asking for input from its residents about the future.
The city is evaluating its comprehensive plan to look forward and develop a strategy for growth over the next 10 years with "Look Forward Lakeland!"
According to the city, the purpose of the Lakeland Comprehensive Plan is to establish City goals, objectives and policies that will be effective at managing growth and development.
Officials want to identify and understand priorities and concerns of Lakeland residents and city leaders to develop a vision for the future.

Additionally, several public meetings are being held where citizens can learn about Lakeland's comprehensive plan and how it relates to your quality of life. Staff will be available to answer questions and technology will be provided for those who wish to take the survey. A list of the meeting dates and times are below:
