TAMPA, Fla. — This week Good Morning Tampa Bay is highlighting some of the best places to travel in the Tampa Bay area on one tank of gas.
Today, we visit Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales.
About an hour drive or so away from Tampa, the Garden is a must-see. It is an oasis all its own.
Action Air Skyview captured some incredible videos of the 205-foot singing tower. The 60-bell carillon rings at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. This beauty has 8 levels, each a different experience.
RECOMMENED:
- Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks offers something to do for the whole family
- Village of Cortez is one of the many must-sees on Anna Maria Island
The Gardens really is a fun place for your entire family. Your kids will enjoy the Hammock Hollow Children's Garden. It is designed as a place for kids to learn through nature.
You can also find animals, an outdoor kitchen and an estate garden on the property.
Bok Tower Gardens is open 365 days a year, but its hours vary depending on the season.
The cost of admission is:
- Adults: $15
- Children: $5 (5-15)
Plan to spend a few hours there!
