A Bartow man was killed Friday when a wall collapsed in a construction site accident, Haines City Police says.
The incident happened at about 10 a.m. when a concrete wall collapsed at a construction site near the intersection of Davenport Blvd. and US 27.
Martin Loera, 49, was taken to Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a little before 1 p.m.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is on scene to investigate.
