A Seminole man was arrested for two counts of sexual battery after having inappropriate sexual contact with a minor for several years.
William Walls, 47, was arrested after a 19-year-old victim told an adult at her school that she had inappropriate sexual contact with him from the ages of 13-17.
The crimes occurred between June 2009 and July 2016, and the victim knew Walls.
Crimes Against Children detectives were notified of the inappropriate sexual activity. Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to determine that the incidents did in fact take place.
Walls confessed to the allegations and was arrested Tuesday night and charged with two counts of sexual battery-familial authority.
