The Tampa Bay Rays' makeup game against the New York Yankees have been delayed Thursday afternoon due to rain in New York City.
The first game of Thursday's doubleheader was supposed to be a makeup game for Wednesday night's game, which was postponed due to sever weather in the area.

Both teams are shooting for a 4:20 p.m. ET first pitch at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx. The doubleheader will wrap up the four-game series between the two teams fighting for the AL East title.
The Rays, who play their home games indoors at Tropicana Field, once again poked fun at the Yankees for Thursday's rain delay.

On Wednesday, the Rays' teased the Yankees for Wednesday's rainout.

The Yankees, who enter Thursday afternoon with a 60-33 record, hold a six game lead over the Rays, who are 56-41 heading into the rain delay. Tampa Bay took Game 1 Monday and dropped the following game to New York Tuesday night.
