CLEARWATER, Fla. — If you are in need of volunteer hours or just love volunteering then you're in luck. More than 1,200 volunteers are needed for the annual Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival.
The City of Clearwater says “Sand Ambassadors” are needed for the 17-day festival, which runs from April 12 to April 28 at Clearwater Beach.

Sand Ambassadors will receive a t-shirt and admission to the festival the day of their shift — along with other goodies — for their time.
