PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Over 170 citations were given during the DUI Wolf Pack on Friday.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said they have an on-going commitment to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving.
The goal of the Wolf Pack was to educate and create awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and any chemical or controlled substances.
Here are the results from the DUI Wolf Pack:
Criminal Charges:

- 2 Fleeing to Elude Charge
- 3 Felony Drug Charges
- 1 Misdemeanor Drug Charges
- 7 Other Misdemeanor Arrest
- 41 Total Charges

- 7 No Insurance
- 44 Speeding Tickets
- 1 Open Container
- 25 Non-Moving Violations
- 48 Moving Violations
- 25 DUI Citations
- 173 Total Citations
The Wolf Pack was held from 7 p.m. on Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
Pinellas County deputies, Florida Highway Patrol, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department and the St. Petersburg Police Department were all included in the DUI Wolf Pack.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office will be conducting Wolf Packs throughout the year.
