CLEARWATER, Fla. — Britany Jacobs said she didn’t know she was pregnant with Markeis McGlockton's fourth child until sometime in October.
Jacobs made the emotional announcement in Clearwater at the same church where McGlockton’s funeral was held.
“It’s been tough and my kids always ask where their daddy is as we continue to push through the holidays,” Jacobs said.

Michael Drejka reenacts shooting Markeis McGlockton during 6-hour interview hours after it happened
The July 19 shooting started following an argument with Michael Drejka over a parking spot.
The incident was captured on store surveillance. It shows McGlockton push Drejka to the ground then take a few steps back. In that time Drejka pulls out a gun from the ground and fires the fatal shot. Jacobs and her young son Markeis Jr. both watched McGlockton die.
At a Dec. 14 hearing, defense lawyers for Drejka said that McGlockton was on drugs at the time of the shooting and has a history of violence.
Jacobs’ attorneys said that is just a distraction to smear McGlockton’s name and life. Jacobs said through tears he died to protect her, her son, and now her unborn child.
“Markeis was a good man, the best father any kid could ask for,” Jacobs said. “He enjoyed everything with his kids and most kids don’t even have a father. And for him to always be in his kids' life was a big impact to his kids. It’s hard to go through the season and the holidays without him.”
The trial is set for August and Jacobs’ attorneys are confident Drejka will be found guilty.
“There are going to be a lot of attempts to assassinate the character of Markeis McGlockton after Michael Drejka assassinated him out at that convenience store,” Benjamin Crump said. “That video is our most important witness.”
