PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A horrifying motorcycle crash was caught on camera on U.S. 19 in Clearwater earlier this year.
Helmet cam video from the motorcyclist show the wreck earlier this year. The driver can be seen taunting deputies, weaving in and out of lanes and speeding past traffic (including two law enforcement vehicles) before colliding with a 2003 Kia Optima trying to make a left hand turn.
He was driving with a group of four other motorcyclists.
The motorcyclist is 21-year-old Ryan Decubellis. He was thrown off the bike upon impact and was taken to the hospital where he was treated for serious injuries. Fortunately, he has since been released from the hospital.
The driver of the Kia was treated for minor injuries.

Investigators say the crash happened before deputies had an opportunity to make a traffic stop or activate emergency equipment.
He is charged with reckless driving with property damage and personal injury and no motorcycle endorsement.
