ORIGINAL STORY — Do you need to add some sunshine to your life? Then head on over to the Humane Society of Pinellas County.

When the area was under hurricane watch, three newborn chihuahua puppies were surrendered to the shelter. Staff there saw an opportunity and aptly named them after three weathermen — Denis Phillips, Jim Cantore and Al Roker!

The shelter tells us Denis was adopted Thursday afternoon, but his brothers are still available. Don't let this be a mist opportunity!

You can visit the shelters website for more information, and to see the other animals in need of forever homes.
