Lynette Barry was watching ABC Action News in October when she realized a chance to turn her business into Santa’s workshop.

Barry is the CEO of electrical automation company Infinity Industrial Controls in Clearwater. She saw the Tampa Bay area chapters of Toys for Tots were desperate for warehouse space, especially of the donated variety.

Toys for Tots told us they had never gone this late in the year without warehouses. Due to their tight budget as most money donated goes to buy toys, the organization does not have a large budget for office space and warehouses.

“I saw that they needed space and I didn’t even realize how dire it was,” says Barry. “When I heard that, I thought, this is perfect! I can donate space and spread a little Christmas cheer.”

Barry offered up three of her warehouses at no charge, which is helping house toys for 25,000 kids in the Tampa Bay area.
