"Beach cleanups are extremely important, especially after a busy holiday, to keep Clearwater's famous sugar sand clean and pristine while also helping keep waterways and marine life clean of trash and debris," city officials said in a press release.
The cleanup day will take place Friday July 5, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. The city is looking for more than 30 volunteer to help cleanup after Fourth of July celebrations.
