4-alarm fire at Largo Walmart, firefighters hurt

Firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze at a Walmart off U.S. 19. in the Clearwater-Largo area Wednesday afternoon.
 
A dark plume of smoke could be seen rising from the store at 2677 Roosevelt Blvd. just after 12:30 p.m.
 
Largo Police told ABC Action News there was a fire on the roof of the store. Witnesses said they heard two explosions. The fire was on the market side of the store.  
 
The store was evacuated, and no customers reported injuries. At least two firefighters were transported to the hospital, but their injuries were not immediately clear. 
Action News Reporter Nicole Grigg was at the scene minutes after the fire started. Twenty-two units responded to the scene.
