PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies are investigating after a 71-year-old man was found dead in his Clearwater home Thursday from 'unnatural causes.'
Deputies responded to the home at 1506 Meadow Dale Dr. in Clearwater at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and found Daniel Gillespie, Jr. inside the residence where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives confirmed he died from 'unnatural causes.'
The investigation is ongoing and authorities say it does not appear to be related to any other open death investigations.
