PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Terry Pellegrino just renewed her driver’s license. She is now good to drive until the age of 107.
Yes, you read that right.
On Tuesday, Terry will turn 100 years young.
“Right now I’m doing everything I’ve always wanted to do,” says Pellegrino. “Nothing stands in my way.”
The Palm Harbor dynamo says the secret to a good long life is exercising, swimming — and a little wine and chocolate every day.
But more than all that...
“As long as you’re doing something for somebody, you got it made," says Pellegrino.
A few times every week, Terry drives four miles to Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor.

She is a volunteer at the facility and does everything from folding laundry to comforting patients in their final stages of life.
“I refer to her as our own Mother Teresa, because she’s so full of love and compassion,” says volunteer coordinator Kathie Jones.
So far, Terry has accrued over 7,000 volunteer hours.
The best part? She shows no sign of slowing down.
