PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Pinellas Park Police say an investigation is underway after a double shooting early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. at the Boardwalk Apartments. Authorities said one person is dead, and another is injured and facing charges.
According to police, the shooting happened during an argument between two men. Both men fired shots and both were hit, police said. Axel Gilbert, 20, was killed.
The other man, identified as Nuriyjha Jackson, 23, was taken to the hospital for treatment. He faces one count of manslaughter and one count of violation of probation.
Police said there is no threat to the public.
