WE'RE OPEN: Local photographer gets creative to take Easter Bunny pictures

Magical Memories Photography prides itself on being something magical, especially for families.

So, when Easter Bunny portraits were canceled, owner Jacqueline Elliott was devastated.

But, she got creative.

"Even in quarantine, I came up with the idea to do this in-home photoshoot, so I kind of set the parents up with an informational guide. It's very short and sweet, nothing crazy. We all take pictures on our phone anyway so we're pros," explains Elliott.

The magical editing makes the child or family look like they had an Easter bunny portrait this year.

She's still opening these up to families, but the turnaround time won't be until after Easter.

However, there is an opportunity to see the Bunny this weekend.

Jacqueline is partnering with Chicken Salad Chick in Trinity.

On Saturday, April 11, there will be a special guest from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. and 5 - 6:30 p.m.

The Bunny will be in Jacqueline's old fashioned truck, waving high from a distance, of course.

Masks and a free scoop of chicken salad will be given out to the first 200 first responders, as well.
