Former Port Richey mayor Dale Massad opened up in an interview this week about his arrest in late February.
He was arrested for practicing medicine without a license, and was also charged with five counts of pre-meditated attempted homicide after allegedly shooting at Pasco deputies trying to serve a warrant at his home.

Massad did an interview from jail earlier this week where he defended himself, putting blame on the Port Richey Police Department and saying he doesn't understand why he's in jail.
In the interview he talks about why he thinks Port Richey Police Department shouldn't exist and the fact that he thinks he is being set up.
