Two spa employees arrested for prostitution in New Port Richey

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — The owner of two spas in New Port Richey is facing charges after police arrested two employees for prostitution. 

New Port Richey Police executed two simultaneous search warrants at the Miyako Spa, 4962 U.S. Highway 19, and the Kimora Spa, 6602 U.S. Highway 19. They arrested two employees and the owner of both businesses, 58-year-old Ai Shu Jin. 

The employees Aizi Li, 55, and Jin Shunyu, 55, are each facing three counts of prostitution. 

Police say Ai Shu Jin is facing charges for violating Florida State Statute 796.07, which prohibits owning, establishing, maintaining or operating any place for the purpose of prostitution. She also received $2,245 in city code enforcement violations.  

The New Port Richey Police Department worked with the Department of Homeland Security and Border Patrol.
