PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — FDLE agents arrested Port Richey acting mayor Terrence Rowe on Wednesday.
Rowe, 64, of Port Richey, was arrested on obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate the commission of a crime. Massad was also charged with conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice and use of a two-way communication device on Wednesday.
Rowe began serving as acting mayor following the arrest of former mayor Dale Glen Massad.
Massad is charged with multiple counts of attempted murder after allegedly shooting at a Pasco County SWAT team on February 22.
Governor Ron DeSantis issued an executive order suspending Massad following his arrest.
Rowe's arrest is tied to the Massad case.

FDLE agents received information that Rowe was conspiring to interfere with an active criminal investigation.
Rowe was booked into the Pasco County Jail on a $15,000 bond and bonded out Thursday morning. He is scheduled to appear before a judge at noon.
Massad is scheduled to have a hearing at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
Attorney General Ashley Moody’s Office of Statewide Prosecution will handle the case.
