PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A color-coded map shows the three areas that will be affected after the school board voted to close Hudson Elementary School at the end of the school year.
The red area shows 241 Hudson students will be rezoned to Northwest Elementary School. The blue part shows 291 Hudson students going to Gulf Highlands Elementary School. The pink area rezones 147 kids from Gulf Highlands for Fox Hollow.

With these new moves, Northwest and Gulf Highlands will be overcrowded and Fox Hollow isn't far from reaching full capacity.
The district put out a timeline of how long this will take. On March 11 at 5:30 p.m., you can attend a meeting at Hudson Elementary to get your questions answered. In April, the district will hold a public hearing and the school board will vote on the changes. You'll be officially notified if your child is affected by the end of May.
