Pasco County school board votes to push back first day of classes to August 24

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. -- The Pasco County school board has voted to push back the first day of classes.

The first day of classes for Pasco County Schools will be Monday, August 24. The original start date was set for August 10 before the COVID-19 pandemic prompted Superintendent Kurt Browning to recommend the district to push back the start date for classes.
