PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Hudson Elementary will close at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

The Pasco County School Board unanimously voted to close the school on Tuesday. Officials say they will start the rezoning process right away.
The closure is part of Project RISE Expanded, which is a plan designed to provide "equity and hope for all students by offering rigorous courses and programs throughout the district." You can read more on the plan here.
Students are expected to be rezoned to Northwest Elementary or Gulf Highlands Elementary.
