PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Just a month ago this local man spent 10 days sleeping in cages at an animal shelter to raise awareness and donations for animals in need. Well now, he's doing it again for a month.

Kris Rotonda first spent 72 hours sleeping in cages with rescue animals over the summer. He documented the entire thing and the response was huge. So, he challenged himself to a 10-day sleepover.

Rotonda is at it again, challenging himself to spend 30 nights sleeping in the outdoor kennels at the Humane Society of Pasco County.

His goal this time, in addition to awareness, is to raise money for a new building for the rescue.

You can follow along with Rotonda on the Humane Society's Facebook page, and you can donate to the new building here.
