LARGO, Fla. — Largo Police are searching for two women accused of robbing a woman in a motorized shopping cart at Walmart on July 8.

The Largo Police Department say they have probable cause for the arrests of Tanesha Gary, 36, and Shanan Diaz, 38, for a robbery by sudden snatching. The crime was committed at the Walmart on Roosevelt Boulevard in Largo at 6:41 p.m.

The suspects drove a blue 2017 Hyundai Elantra, with Florida tag number JHMU55, next to the victim, who was in a motorized shopping cart in the parking lot.

Police say suspect Gary forcibly took the victim's purse and then re-entered the getaway car. As the Hyundai fled, the victim was partially dragged and fell, resulting in serious injuries.

Largo PD says Gary is a career offender and Diaz, the owner and driver of the car, has active felony warrants out of Lee County.
