Bumping into Tom Cruise in Clearwater, Florida may prove to be a Mission Not-So-Impossible.
Church of Scientology launches TV Network; says 'It's time for us to tell our story'
People Magazine is reporting that Cruise, 56, one of Hollywood's biggest names, is renovating a penthouse condo, near the Scientology International headquarters in Clearwater as "a new home base."
The magazine reports that he sold his $39 million dollar Beverly Hills compound in 2016 and since then, he's been living in a London hotel while filming The Mummy and Mission: Impossible — Fallout.
Cruise's new multimillion-dollar penthouse is located at the SkyView, a 10-story condominium, and his penthouse takes up the top two floors, according to the Daily Mail. He's finishing up renovations on the condo but he has already spent some time there as he's been spotted walking around Clearwater by locals.
Cruise has been a member of the Church of Scientology since the late '80s. He's very close to the church's leader, David Miscavige.
