RIVERVIEW, Fla. — Volunteers are searching for a lost dog that was last seen in the Riverview area that's in need of medical attention.
The emaciated dog was first seen in the Talavera subdivision last week when a worker spotted the dog while on a lunch break.
A pet rescue has teamed up with a number of volunteers to find the dog by setting traps and posting flyers to find the dog.
Maxx & Me Pet Rescue plans to add more signs in the area to help get an idea of the location of the dog. They tell us the dog has not been spotted for the past three days, so they are hoping for someone to call in.
The rescue group posted to social media asking people if they see the dog to not feed it as it may be spooked.
