A Tampa neighborhood is staying alert after surveillance video captured the daring way a man and an accomplice tried to get inside vehicles.
Neighbors in the Belmar Shore neighborhood say on Mother's Day, video captured someone backing into a driveway, and then a man hopping out and trying to open the door to a parked car.
The person who tried to open the door was wearing a gray hooded sweater, and didn't show his face, but the car he was in was a maroon four door car.
Tampa police say they received a call for a suspicious person in the area on Sunday around 8 p.m.
In the video you can see how quickly the suspect pulled into a driveway and attempted to get inside before a car alarm went off.
Following that video, another neighbor captured video on their Ring camera that shows a similar style car do the same type of maneuver in the same area.
Police have not said if they have any persons of interest or if they were able to get away with anything.
