TAMPA, Fla. — Saturday marks the start of Taste of South Tampa Restaurant Week 2020.
The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce says this gives foodies an opportunity to enjoy great deals at local restaurants.
Dozens of restaurants in the South Tampa area are participating by offering discounts on food and drinks.
You can pick up a free printed copy of a dining passport at participating restaurants to get those deals.
Every day of Restaurant Week you have a chance to win a $25 gift card to one of the restaurants.
To enter:
- Eat at a participating restaurant
- Get your passport stamped
- Take a picture and tag @TasteofSouthTampa and use the hashtag #TasteWeek2020
- Share your picture on Facebook or Instagram to be automatically entered to win
Leaders say the goal of Restaurant Week is to support South Tampa’s food and hospitality industry while giving people something to look forward to after months of canceled events.
“We’re just excited to to continue to support local businesses and promote South Tampa as open for business,” said Kelly Flannery, President & CEO of South Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
Officials say this is a way to help stimulate business and revenue throughout the community.
“This is our call to action opportunity for us to say come into South Tampa, come experience our restaurants,” said Flannery.
Taste of South Tampa Restaurant Week runs from October 10 to 18.
