Tampa Bay Water to test emergency sirens on Wednesday

LITHIA, Fla. — Tampa Bay Water wants you to know if you hear their emergency sirens on Wednesday morning, it's just a test!

They will be conducting a test of the emergency siren system at the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir on Wednesday, January 2 at 9 a.m. to make sure the sirens are effective in the unlikely event of an emergency, according to a press release. Learn more here.

The sirens will go off at 9 a.m. and will include three to five short blasts lasting 10 to 20 seconds each.

Hillsborough County Emergency Management, the Sheriff's Office and Fire Rescue have been notified.
