TAMPA, Fla. — Super Bowl LV is in 2021 and that may seem far away, but, preparations are already underway in Tampa, which will be the host city.
The Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee is expected to hold a news conference Wednesday afternoon to kickoff the area’s journey to hosting the big game.

According to the invite, the news conference will be held at Raymond James Stadium and involve an unveiling of the host committee logo.
Local government officials and others are expected to share individual updates on the planning for Super Bowl LV.
Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, Tampa Bay Sports Commission Executive Director Rob Higgins, County Commissioner Ken Hagan, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Bryan Glazer are all planning to be at the event.

This would be the fifth time The Tampa Bay Area hosted the Super Bowl; the last time was in 2009.
