HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Do you loathe going to the DMV when it's time to renew your registration because of how long it takes? You're not alone, and if you live in Hillsborough County it's getting a lot easier to skip the wait.

Hillsborough County residents can now renew their vehicle registration at a self-service kiosk.

The vehicle registration self-service kiosk is easy to use, according to the Hillsborough County Tax Collector website. All you have to do it type in your license plate number and birth date or the PIN number printed on your registration renewal notice. You then pay for your registration renewal and the kiosk will print your new registration and decal on the spot. You can do all this in under two minutes!

The best part about the kiosk is you can pay with cash or your credit/debit card. Keep in mind, there is an addition 2.25% fee if you pay with your card.

The Hillsborough County Tax Collector says "it's important to note that you may only renew your registration at the self-service kiosk if your registration has NO stops or holds."
