RIVERVIEW, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is looking for a teen who shot into a vehicle with two young kids inside.
Officials said on Jan.19 around 8 p.m., deputies responded to the Circle K at 11606 Balm Riverview Road. They said Jerome James Knight, 19, fired a gun through the window of a pick-up truck with two young children inside.
The victim reported to deputies a physical altercation between himself, Knight and a group of others.
That's when Knight fired the gun toward the vehicle.
Officials said no one was injured in the shooting.
"We are asking anyone who has seen Jerome James Knight to please come forward," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "This teen's reckless and violent behavior put two innocent children at risk of losing their lives. Please do not engage if you see him, for he is likely armed. Instead, call us immediately."
