TAMPA, Fla. -- A second officer with the Tampa Police Department has tested positive for coronavirus, according to an announcement from police on Monday.
According to TPD, the second member is a sworn law enforcement officer and was immediately quarantined before the positive test results came up.
The first TPD officer tested positive in late March. TPD said on Monday night that both employees are "improving and doing well."

As of Monday night, 98 TPD employees have been monitored, with 68 cleared to return to full duty.
Twenty-two TPD employees are currently in self-quarantine.
Across the county, the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue reports they've had a couple members positive, and 15 to 60 members in quarantine depending on the day. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports five members are being quarantined. Tampa Fire Rescue reports 33 people in quarantine, spread across three different shifts. Two of their members have tested positive, one who was on leave and one that was line of duty related.
