TAMPA, Fla. — The puppies left sick and abandoned along Howard Avenue in Tampa are now in a foster home as they continue to recover.
The four dogs were left across the street from shelter, with a bad form of mange.

A foster parent who always works at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay decided to keep the puppies through the holiday season.
Joy, Nick, Noel, and Mary -- all given the holiday spirit names since they were found right around Christmas.
Kasandra Lizanich said she wanted to keep the puppies together during their recovery, "it's like having quadruples," she joked.
Lizanich says she gives them a bath every night, uses coconut oil on them and other medicine to help the secondary infection from the mange.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is offering a $2,000 reward for information about who did this, but they have not received one tip.
Any information you may have about who dumped these puppies can be reported to Tampa Police, Hillsborough County Animal Services or The Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
The puppies should be up for adoption after the first of the year.
