TAMPA, Fla. — Police are investigating a deadly traffic accident that has closed part of Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the crash occurred along Bayshore Boulevard near Rome Avenue before 11:30 a.m.

Police said three people were on motorcycles going northbound on Bayshore Blvd.
One of the motorcyclists, in his 30s, hit a man that was crossing Bayshore Blvd. on a bike. The man on the bike, in his 50s, was thrown off the bike and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The motorcyclist identified as Justin Glenn Winterhalter, 31, died at the scene.
The two other motorcyclists were taken to the Tampa Police Department for more information.
At this time, northbound lanes of Bayshore Boulevard are closed to traffic.
Police are on-scene and investigating.
