TAMPA, Fla. – A man was reportedly struck by lightning aboard a personal watercraft in Hillsborough Bay on Monday afternoon, a fire official confirmed with ABC Action News.
The Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a call near the Davis Island Yacht Club around 3:40 p.m. When crews arrived, the man was out of the water and being tended to by good Samaritans.
The man was taken to the hospital but officials did not specify the person’s conditions.
