TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department said a pedestrian was struck and killed in the roadway on the northbound approach to the Veteran's Expressway, just south of the Memorial Highway exit.
Outside travel lanes have been closed for investigation.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes at this time.
