Over 30 companies participating in a JobLink job fair Thursday in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. — Over a dozen companies looking to fill hundreds of openings are participating in JobLink USA's semi-annual Tampa Bay Works Hiring Event on Thursday, December 12.

There are positions available in all fields including sales, marketing, hospitality, health care, information technology, logistics, human resources, insurance, engineering, law enforcement and education.

The featured employers are the U.S. Census Bureau and the Hillsborough County Public Schools.

The Census Bureau is looking to hire hundreds of workers and support staff who will be working on the 2020 Census.

The school district is looking to hire 124 drivers, bus mechanics, food service workers, custodial operations and after-school childcare workers.

The job fair is being held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Westshore at 700 North Westshore Blvd. in Tampa.
