HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Parents can now give their input on the proposed boundaries for a new high school affecting four high school student populations.
High School TTT is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2020. The site is located on Balm Road, east of US 301 across from the Mirabella subdivision.
The Hillsborough County School District says the southeast's rapid growth made way for the new addition.
The new boundaries will re-assign students from East Bay and Lennard High. The new lines will also make minor adjustments to Newsome and Durant High boundaries.
The proposal of the new boundaries parents will see at a meeting on Wednesday, July 18 won't be final. The school board will have to approve the measure at a later meeting sometime in the Fall.
If you're interested in attending the meeting, it'll be held at Shields Middle School at 15732 Beth Shields Way in Ruskin.
The meeting will start at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30. The format will be along the lines of an open house.
If you cannot make it to the meeting, another one will be held at the same time and location on July 26.
