RIVERVIEW, Fla. — A local organization dedicated to helping end hunger in south Hillsborough County just opened the doors to a second location to help those in need.
The Emergency Care and Help Organization or ECHO, opened in Riverview Neighborhood Park right off U.S. 301.
ECHO serves clients in Brandon, but they saw a growing need in Riverview -- so they are leasing a space from the county off Capitano Street.
Inside the facility, you will find food, clothes, toiletries, and other necessities to connect people in their time of need.
The south county location is located at 7807 Capitano Street in Riverview, Florida.
They are serving five zip codes: 33534, 33569, 33578, 33579, and 33619.
What you need to bring:
- Photo ID
- Original social security cards for each family member receiving assistance
- Current proof of address.
A client can visit an ECHO location for assistance a total of four times in a lifetime and each visit must be six months apart.
