HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. - A Ruskin man arrested for holding a machete to a woman's neck, threatening her life, tying her up and sexually battering her is now charged with sexual battery on another woman after cell phone video surfaced.

Back in April, Jerry Roberts Jr. was arrested when he kept that woman inside a residence for about 18 hours before she could escape.

As a result of that investigation, Roberts cell phone was recovered as evidence.

Authorities say a search of the phone revealed a cell phone video of Roberts sexually battering a different victim.

She appeared drugged and unconscious during the sexual battery.

Authorities contacted the victim who was out of state. She identified herself as the person in the video, and was previously unaware the video existed.

Additional charges for sexual battery were added to Roberts, who is currently in jail. He is also charged with kidnapping and aggravated battery with great bodily harm.

If anyone believes they may have been a victim of Jerry Roberts, detectives would like to encourage them to report the incident to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
