TAMPA, Fla. — Hillsborough County Public Schools is hosting another job fair Tuesday night to fill nearly 50 open bus driver positions.
District leaders says they are also looking to hire drivers who can fill in during absences or leaves.
The job fair is Tuesday, December 3 at Lennard High School, 2342 E. Shell Point Rd. in Ruskin. It will run from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
The district says, "It is difficult to maintain the high level of service our district and our families expect with the shortage of drivers we are facing. Our students’ education is paramount to the success of our community. "
Recruiters will be available to conduct interviews for available jobs.
The district is also seeking to hire bus mechanics, food service workers, custodial operations and after school childcare workers (for our H.O.S.T. program).
