Former charter school teacher accused of kissing, inappropriately touching 14-year-old student

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- A former Hillsborough charter school teacher has been arrested after he reportedly kissed and inappropriately touched a 14-year-old student in her apartment complex parking lot. 

George Foreman Jr., 28, of Tampa was employed as a teacher at Woodmont Charter School where the victim is a student. The incident happened during Foreman's time as a teacher at the school. 

Deputies say George Foreman Jr. arrived at the victim's apartment complex in his car after exchanging emails with the victim. The 14-year-old victim met Foreman in the apartment parking lot where Foreman and the victim reportedly hugged and kissed each other. During the hugging, Foreman's hands were on the victim's hips and slid down onto her buttocks.

The victim told deputies they hugged and kissed four times and each time, Foreman put his hands on her behind. 

The victim positively identified Foreman to deputies. 

On December 19, 2017, Foreman was arrested at his residence without incident and was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Foreman was booked into the Orient Road Jail on charges of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation and Possession of Marijuana (misdemeanor).
