School districts across Florida are being advised to remain closed through at least the end of April as the nation continues to practice social distancing.
The coronavirus pandemic has prompted all schools to either make the full transition to teaching their classes online or extend their spring breaks. Many families across the Sunshine State have also began homeschooling their children.
The Hillsborough County Public Schools announced it is going to follow the state's advice to keep its schools closed through May 1. Pasco County Schools also announced on social media it will do the same.
All Pasco County schools will be closed until May 1. Distance learning will still begin on Tuesday, March 31.
